For Parents and Carers
Drop-In Service
Parents or carers can access support and guidance from our team via our flexible drop-in service.
Each appointment provides a safe and supportive space to talk through challenges, explore concerns and receive practical strategies that can be applied at home or in school. Our drop‑ins are designed to be flexible, accessible and responsive, ensuring families can access expert advice when they need it most.
Whether you’re facing an urgent situation, seeking clarity on SEND processes, or simply looking for reassurance and practical guidance, these sessions offer tailored support to meet your family’s needs.
A drop in appointment can be used to:
- Share worries and concerns and make sense of complex situations and presenting needs at home or in school, and identify practical ways forward for next steps.
- Share worries and concerns in a safe space, work with our team to make sense of complex situations and presenting needs at home or in school, and leave with practical next steps. At the same time, gain reassurance and confidence in supporting your child, with clear strategies and tips you can apply straight away.
- Receive general advice on SEND needs, processes and suggested pathways for support. For example, local authority processes, EHCP applications or multi‑agency involvement.
- Discuss any aspect of child and adolescent development and gain practical strategies for everyday situations, including emotional regulation, speech and language development, building friendships and supporting healthy sleep routines.
- Discuss key transitions through school and explore practical ways to help prepare your child for change.
Drop-ins can be booked directly from our website, where weekly time slots are made available, ensuring timely access to our support and expertise.
